Terms and Conditions

Booking

1. Booking can only be made before you enter the car park and it can be made from 2 hours to 7 days prior to entry.
2. Booking is available for parking periods of:
     i. Car Park 1: minimum 2 hours to maximum 168 hours (7 days)
     ii. Car Park 2: minimum 2 hours to maximum 72 hours (3 days).
3. You have to make full payment at the time of booking. We accept payment by Visa or MasterCard. All transactions are processed in Hong Kong Dollars (HK$).
4. Booking is applicable to private car, motorcycle and van-type light goods vehicle only. You must ensure that you have selected the correct vehicle type during booking.
5. Consecutive bookings shall not be allowed for the same vehicle.
6. Enquiry for a confirmed booking record should be submitted within 30 days from the day of the scheduled exit date. Otherwise, the enquiry could not be processed.

Parking

1. Please follow the procedures below to redeem your car park booking:
   1. Use the Octopus Card registered at the time of booking for entry and exit.
   2. Follow the instruction listed in your booking confirmation.
2. If you arrive 8 hours (applicable to Car Park 1) or 1 hour (applicable to Car Park 2) later than the booked entry time, your reserved parking space may be released to others but you may still be allocated with parking space, subject to availability of the parking spaces at the time of entry for car park booking. However, your parking period will be valid till the booked exit time only.
3. Entry to the car park earlier than the booked entry time is not allowed. Please enter the car park within the booked period.
4. If you leave the car park after your booked exit time, the overtime parking charging rate will be 400% of the booking hourly parking rate for the first two hours and 500% of the booking hourly parking rate for the remaining additional parking time. Irrespective of the duration of the parking time beyond the booked exit time, the daily or overnight parking rate shall not apply.
5. No refund will be granted for the unused parking period if your actual parking period is shorter than the booked parking period.
6. No refund will be made if you do not enter the car park during the booked parking period.
7. If the vehicle classification of your vehicle is different from that registered at the time of booking, your booking will be deemed invalid with no refund.
8. You can enter and exit the car park once only for each booking.

Amendment and Cancellation

1. You may amend or cancel your booking online at least 2 hours prior to the booked entry time. An administration fee of HK$100 will be charged for each booking amendment or cancellation.
2. Amendment of booking is only applicable to amendment for "Entry Date & Time and/or Exit Date & Time". Other confirmed information cannot be amended.
3. If the payment amount for amended booking exceeds payment amount for the original booking, additional parking fee and administration fee of HK$100 will be charged upon booking amendment.
4. If the payment amount for amended booking or for booking cancellation is less than the payment amount for the original booking, we will arrange refund of the difference in amount after deducting the administration fee of HK$100 to the same credit card used for payment at the time of booking.
5. Booking amendment is subject to the availability of parking spaces for car park booking.

Refund Policy

1. Refund will be made (if any) if your booking amendment or cancellation is successful.

Cyber Security Policy

1. All requests at the payment page uses the HTTPS over Transport Layer Security [TLS 1.2]. This ensures the proper encryption of machine account credentials.

Use of car park booking are subject to the ‘Conditions of Parking and Use’ of Skye Parking Limited displayed at the entrance of the car parks.

If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.

(1) PRIVACY POLICY STATEMENT

It is the policy of Skye Parking Limited, its subsidiaries and associated companies (hereinafter called “the Companies”) to comply with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, Chapter 486 of the laws of the Hong Kong. The Companies also strive to ensure compliance by our staff with the strictest standards of security and confidentiality.

The Companies safeguard information provided by its customers and website users. With the only exceptions that personal data may be collected in relation to the Car Park Booking Services of Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point Public Car Park and the giving/collection of opinion online and that the IP address of the computer used to visit our website may be recorded, the Companies do not collect any personally identifiable information from users while they browse its sites. When a user visits a website the visit is recorded only as a ‘hit’ and no personal data is collected. This information is used only for preparing general statistics on the usage of our websites.

Use of Cookies

We use cookies across our websites in order to improve their performance and enhance your online experience. Session cookies are used to enable you to move around the site and use essential functions on our websites, such as maintaining log-in details for the session such that the need to transfer information across the internet may be reduced. Font size cookies are used to provide proper appearance of characters when you browse our websites. We will not collect any personal data from you when the cookies are being used.

The collection of any personal data collected will be subject to the Companies’ Personal Information Collection Statement. Personal data is stored securely in the Companies’ system and the Companies will take all practicable steps to ensure that personal data is not kept longer than is necessary for the fulfillment of the purpose (including any directly related purpose) for which the data is or is to be used. Only trained, authorized staff shall have access to the data, and the Companies do not release personal data to parties outside the Companies except as set out in the Companies’ Personal Information Collection Statement. Users have the right to request access to and correction of their personal information in accordance with the procedure set out in the Companies’ Personal Information Collection Statement.

The Companies make every effort to protect the privacy of users, but given the nature of the Internet, it cannot guarantee perfect security.

The Companies use third party content and service providers and offer links to third party websites. These third parties may collect personal data from users and they adhere to their own privacy policies. The Companies’ Privacy Policy Statement and Personal Information Collection Statement do not cover third parties.

(2) PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTION STATEMENT

This Personal Information Collection Statement sets out the purposes for which the information provided by you will be used following collection, what you are agreeing to with respect to our use of such information and your rights under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, Cap 486. This statement may change from time to time, so please check back periodically. Each time a user logs in to this website and uses its services, they agree to be bound by the statement in force at that time.

Collection of Data

Users may be asked to provide with personally-identifiable information such as phone number, e-mail address, Octopus card information, Disabled Person’s Parking Permit, etc. This is necessary to provide the users the various services and activities offered on this website. Users are not obliged to supply the data, but if they do not, the services and activities will be unavailable.

IP address of the computer used to visit our website may be recorded.

Purpose and Use of Data

Information collected is used for the followings:

• monitoring use of the website to help its further development;
• compiling aggregate statistics about our users to analyze site usage；
• Car Park Booking Services at Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point Public Car Park；
• identifying and verifying identity of the users who used the services offered on this website；
• communicating with the users in respect of matters related to or arising from the use of the services offered on this website；
• researches and/or analysis by the Companies；
• providing information related to the Companies including the products, facilities, services and other privileges, benefits and other advantages from time to time offered by the Companies or service providers to users；
• handling and following up enquiries, suggestions, complaints and claims；
• conducting service surveys to better understand customers’ needs；
• better tailor products and services to the needs of our customers and/or the type of information presented to our customers。

We also intend to use your contact details and the information as to the goods and services which you were/might be interested in, for delivering information that you may be interested in, such as targeted banners, new services and products and other promotions and marketing materials and conducting direct marketing including products, services, advice and subjects in relation to car parking services. We also intend to, and in this regard you consent to, transfer and provide the abovementioned information to the holding, subsidiaries, associated, or affiliated of, or companies controlled by, or under common control with Skye Parking Limited, The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the service providers through whom the Companies’ products, facilities, services, privileges, benefits or advantages are provided inside and outside Hong Kong for the said purpose. We may not so use or provide the said information unless we have received your consent. Your consent may be communicated to us without charge at the time when you provide such information through our website or by writing to us.

Transfer of Data

User information will not generally be disclosed or transferred to any other party in a form that would identify them except those to parties relevant and reasonably necessary for the purposes stated above.
